Why do Pimples Bleed?

Pimples are a result of skin’s pores becoming clogged with dead skin cells, bacteria, and naturally occurring oils. Acne can be triggered by several reasons which include damage or friction to the skin, hormonal changes that occur in youth, and overexposure to oily products such as lotions and makeup.

Pimples are possibly the most irritating skin problems and 90% of people, particularly in the age group of 15-25, are mostly affected by them. You would rarely find an individual who hasn’t got pimples in his/her entire life. Several people find pimples with their pus heads irritating and thus constantly try to squeeze them which is not at all a wise thing to do.

Why do pimples bleed can be answered by the fact that people try to squeeze their pimples and forcing the contents of such pimple results in bleeding from the clogged pores. This spreads the dead cells, bacteria, and debris of the sebum onto the skin. This is not at all good as this would lead to the formation of more scabs on the wound which would further leave a mark on the face.

Upon squeezing the pimple, you can see the dead debris in the form of yellow material oozing out of the pimple. If you try to do it further, then you can see blood starting to flow out. Then a scab would form slowly to allow the wound to heal which is further likely to leave scars on the face.

If you wonder how to cure pimples, then the first thing you must do is to avoid touching your face for the infection to spread to other parts of the face. You must then put a gentle pressure to stop the pimple from bleeding further. It would be better to wash the face, wipe gently, and apply an acne cream to avoid more pimples from coming.
